Located west of Whitefish, she has been farming for almost 50 years, the last 29 of which have been certified organic. In an effort to adapt to our ever-changing environment, she currently concentrates on seed selection, and the improvement and production of open pollinated varieties. Judy is the recipient of the 2004 AERO
Sustainable Agriculture Award and the MOA 2013 Lifetime of Service Award. She is on the Board and was a founding member of Triple Divide Organic Seed Co-operative, served her stint on the Montana Organic Commodity Advisory Council, and is (still) on
the Board and was a founding member of the Montana Organic Association.
