Cathy Zabinski is a plant and soil ecologist at Montana State University in Bozeman. Her research has included restoration of disturbed sites, invasive species ecology, mycorrhizal ecology and soil health. She teaches courses in restoration ecology and below ground ecology, and has one published book so far, "Amber Waves: The Extraordinary Biography of Wheat".
