Dr. Jed Eberly and team awarded OFRF Grant to study organic lentils

Congratulations to Dr. Jed Eberly and team for being awarded $20,000 to study organic pulse crop growing methods in Montana. Lentils and other pulse crops are increasingly grown in Montana and it has become a leader in organic production. Dr. Eberly and team’s work, housed in MSU’s Central Agricultural Research Center (CARC) at Moccasin, MT, will include investigating seeding rates, seeding dates, rotations and other practicable information.

Want to learn more? CARC is hosting an organic principles review on July 17 that will include an update on this research. Register here.
