CRP Management Request for Information

Please provide your input and recommendations for the management of CRP practices.

  • Are there any practices that do not need management?
  • Are there any practices that are better if left alone in this state?
  • Are there any management options that should be discontinued because they’re not effective in MT?
  • Are there any other changes to management options you would like to recommend?

Note: Policy does not require management for Grasslands practices (CP87 & 88), or CP90.

An important consideration: cost-share is no longer paid to participants for management. All contracts starting 2019 and later will have management performed at the participant’s expense.
